US Oakwood Bouchon Cabernet-Merlot California

Bouchon Winery is located in California’s Sonoma County, though they source grapes from Monterey, Santa Cruz and the Central Coast. The wines are made with an eye to California’s past, when elegance and restraint ruled the day and wines expressed fresh fruit flavors with moderate alcohol and an old-world structure: firm tannins and refreshing acidity.

VARIETALS: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

ALC: 12.5%

COLOR : Bright red in color.

AROMA:  Red fruit aromas such as ripe strawberries, rasberries and subtle smokey finish.

TASTING NOTES: Medium dry, smooth tannins with nice body. Easy to drink.

PAIRING: This wine is excellent to pair with dishes such as steak, lamb chops, and roast beef.
