The winery is located in an exceptional region in a rugged yet generous corner of Catalonia. 

Merum Priorati is a well-known and one of the most important brands in the DOQ Priorat wine appellation.

El Cel is the most exclusive wine of Merum Priorati, made with grapes which have been grown on higher altitude vineyards, ripening slowly as the vines reach up to the sky or even we could sat, to Heaven.

Certified vegan and under viticultura heorica.

TECHNICAL DATA Alcohol 15.5%

APPEARANCE Opaque cherry-red hue with a purple rim.Dense, abundant tears.

NOSE The nose has notes of dark fruit such as ripe blueberries, with subtle undertones of pastries, as well as hints of toasted grain.

PALATE It is broad on entry and refreshing on the palate, thanks to its well-integrated minerality.

It has aromas of dark fruit such as wild berries, blackberries and plums, together with expressive flavors from oak aging: chocolate, truffle and black licorice.

AGEING 100% French oak, medium toasted and of third use.

PAIRING An intense, full-bodied wine like this calls for complex game dishes with plenty of fat, such as suckling-pig terrine, or venison tenderloin with pomegranate sauce.
