Rochester Winery is owned by the De Wet family in Robertson, South Africa.
Winemaking and viticulture are the family passions which dates back to 1697 when the first De Wet settler in South Africa was appointed cellarmaster of the Dutch East India Company.
This rich wine is from the region of Robertson which lies in the Breede River Valley region of South Africa. With high levels of sunshine, producing an array of fine wines.
This sultry red is a Reserve-level very special wine, red grape mixed with a hint of white grape. The Viognier adds a great floral note that balances the Shiraz nicely.
BOLD, Packed with juicy dark berries and pepperty undertones. Full-bodied Shiraz mouth feel with subtle Viognier nose. Smooth and velvety with a soft lingering finish.

AGING:
Stainless Steel Fermentation followed by gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation.
Matured in French Oak for 6 months.

Open your bottle at least an hour before serving so the wine can air out and every layer of flavor can open up.
PALATE:
A smooth creamy attack leading to a well-structure body with a vein of silky tannis.

Ripe red fruit on the nose with a delicious touch of spice.
