Bericanto celebrates over 20 years of collaboration between the Cielo family, winemakers since 1908, and the vinegrowers of the Cantine Colli Berici SCA, cultivating more than 3000 hectares.

Gran Bericanto is our cru blend, a limited edition to challenge the most acclaimed Italian wines, bottled in a unique pure gold embossedglass, to celebrate Vicenza, the city of gold.

VINTAGE: 2019

STYLE: A selection of hand-picked grapes, partially dried to concentrate flavour, sugar and tannins; cold soak maceration, temperature controlled fermentation; 

AGING: one year on French oak barrels, followed by one year on concrete vats.

RESIDUAL SUGAR: 4 grams liter

DENOMINATION: Colli Berici Doc

GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet, Tai Rosso (former Tocai)

TASTE PROFILE: Fragrant aroma of blackberry with a hint of vanilla, slightly spicy. Elegant and harmonic wine, with a full and rich body. Sweet tannins and long aftertaste. 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Excellent with grilled red meats, wild game, roasts and aged cheeses
