Barbaresco is one of the most iconic Italian wines. Cascina Riveri is produced in the foggy, rolling hills of the Langhe in northwest Italy, it is a powerful, yet elegant wine that is a beautiful expression of the grape characteristics and the terroir.

Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo 

Age of the Vines: 40 years 

AGING: 18 months in wood, 80% in Slavonian Oak casks, and 20% French Oak casks

Color: Ruby red with orange highlights 

NOSE:  a bouquet of roses, violets, and small undergrowth fruits with spicy notes of pepper and vanilla 

PALATE: elegant and austere flavor with a pleasant tannic persistence. The silky and long aftertaste reminds raspberry jam
