FR Vellas Mata d’Or Costières-de-Nîmes

The Vignobles Vellas winery started four generations ago in the heart of the Languedoc. The main family property, the Mas du Pont estate, the center of their activities, is a place of culture and traditions. It is located in the towns of Teyran and Crès, near Montpellier, between Pic St Loup and the Mediterranean. Today Nicolas Vella is at the helm, passionate about wine and the Languedoc region. He strives for excellence, authenticity and innovation. This forms a perfect basis for making wines of very high quality. Vignobles Vellas has 120 hectares of vineyards, spread over five wine estates.

VARIETALS:  60% Grenache, 40% Syrah

ALC: 15.0 %

PALATE Ample and greedy, with in the mouth the same notes of ripe fruit and sweet spices. The well-present tannins are melted and very delicate.

PAIRING:  Roasted meat, particularly rabbit, and ribs of beef.
