FR Côtes de Gascogne Colombelle Colombard-Sauvignon

t all began in the mid-1970s when André Dubosc – a third-generation wine grower – set out to build up the reputation of the wines from their region of South-West France. He and other passionate young winegrowers fashioned local dry white wines (now a PGI: Côtes de Gascogne), revived the Saint Mont appellation and gave a new breath of life to the Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, made from late-harvested grapes.

APPEARANCE

Pale yellow, lit up with green reflections.

NOSE

On the nose has an intensely fruity and fresh bouquet, dominated by yellow and white fruits and enhanced by notes of citrus and passion fruit.

PALATE

The easy and fruity palate expresses the aromas of the nose with a floral touch and a crisp lemony finish.

PAIRING

A pleasure as an aperitif, then with sushi.

Ideal with crab, a fish tagine, salmon with dill and poultry with candied lemon.
