In the well-known French wine region of Bordeaux, in the commune of Sauternes, is the famed winery Chateau Villefranche. It is now acknowledged by both the government and the populace as one of the oldest and most illustrious wine farms.

Chateau Villefranche has remained with the Guinabert family as a legacy and business for over six generations. They have been the owners of the wine estate since the middle years of the XVII century.
