Château La Petite Duchesse is a family property owned by Jean-Louis Champagne. After inheriting from his father, he continued to enlarge the vineyard and modernized the winery. His son Xavier, recently joined him on the wine estate.

This property also produces the appellations Bordeaux Rouge; Bordeaux Supérieur; Bordeaux Rosé and Bordeaux Blanc.

APPEARANCE Elegant and deep ruby color.

NOSE Its spicy and expressive nose is dominated by red fruit aromas, meanwhile the largely dominant percentage of Merlot gives finesse and roundness, where the Cabernet Franc contributes to a rich and elegant bouquet.

PALATE In the mouth this wine is well-balanced and round with smooth tannins where Cabernet Sauvignon shows its great aging potential.

VINIFICATION Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats.Aged in French oak barrels for 8 months.

PAIRING Very nice with read meat or cheese.
