Château la Genestière wine making began in 1930, following the decline of sericulture. In 1994 Jean-Claude and Raphaël Garcin bought the Domaine, whose reputation in France and abroad was already considerable. Then, over the years, work, perseverance and know-how have made it possible to add the Domaines Saint-Anthelme, Les Ramières and Longval to the Domaine de La Genestière, to now cover the prestigious appellations of Tavel, Châteauneuf du Pape, Lirac and Côtes Du Rhône.

VARIETALS: 49% Syrah, 36% Grenache and the rest a mix of other permitted varieties.

TASTING NOTES: A traditional blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this is a silky, medium-bodied wine. Cinnamon and cedar shadings frame bright cherry fruit and linger through the elegant finish.
