FR Blason d’Issan Margaux AOC

Blason d’Issan, is made from the younger plots (around 18 years old), it respects the identity of its terroir, while offering a tasty round fruitiness, which can be enjoyed earlier.  The grapes in 2017 that were picked were lovely and fruity, and very ripe with silky, classy tannins.

APPEARANCE Ruby red.

NOSE Bouquet with aromas of black fruiys and ripe plums, accompanied by intense hints of chocolate.

PALATE On the palate the wine is of excellent length and full-bodied.

AGEING The wine is aged in 35% new oak barrels.

PAIRING Try it with any kind of beef or pair it with duck filet in a honey sauce.

READINESS FOR DRINKING Drink from 2022 over the coming 15 years.

Open 2 to 3 hours before and decant it.
