REAL WINE – not fruit wine.
The Château de Millet is located in Eauze in the Gers. Initially dedicated to mixed farming and the production of Armagnac, the estate today reserves 80 hectares of vines for the production of “Domaine de Millet” Côtes de Gascogne wines.
The vineyard is located on the green hills of the North-West of Eauze where clay-siliceous soils and sandy soils called “tawny sands” alternate. Francis Dèche, owner, continues the work of five generations by committing to a quality policy: traditional grape varieties, sustainable cultivation of the vineyard and constant evolution in the methods and means of winemaking. With his daughter Laurence, who joined him in 1999, they market a tasty and varied range of wines, Floc and Armagnac.

TASTING NOTES:
Château de Millet rouge offers us a ruby hue with purple reflections. The nose of this Côtes de Gascogne has gourmet aromas of red fruits with very slightly spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is supple and balanced. The tannins present are well blended. A very supple wine which leaves a tasty fruity note.
