This special range of wines are grown on Vocanic slopes, the Volcanic character is an attribute which makes our wines more vibrant and richer with greater complexity in aromas and on the palate.
APPEARANCE: Deep violet colour.
AROMAS: Intense aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate mixed with hints of black olives.
PALATE: Medium-bodied, well balanced and smooth with soft, ripe tannins and typical hints of white pepper and spice aside from the ripe fruit flavours.
PAIRING: Stewed meats, typical Italian cuisine such as pasta or risotto.
PROCESS: French and American oak casks, malolactic fermentation and ageing for 9 months.
TASTING NOTES:
Reserva Carménère reveals the typicity and elegance of its origins. A deep violet-red colour with intense aromas of red and black fruit, bitter chocolate, notes of herbs, toast, tobacco and olives.
A fresh and broad mouth; nice palate with gentle and mature tannins, plus its typical black pepper and spicy character. Ideal to pair with casserole dishes, red meat, stews, lamb, sausages. Also, it goes perfect with typical Chilean preparations such as corn dishes (pastel de choclo, and humitas), porotos granados (beans) and empanadas
