FR Vellas Max Lions Languedoc-Roussillon Premium Grenache

The Vignobles Vellas winery started four generations ago in the heart of the Languedoc. The main family property, the Mas du Pont estate, the center of their activities, is a place of culture and traditions. It is located in the towns of Teyran and Crès, near Montpellier, between Pic St Loup and the Mediterranean. Today Nicolas Vella is at the helm, passionate about wine and the Languedoc region. Vignobles Vellas has 120 hectares of vineyards, spread over five wine estates.

Powerful and strong as a lion but also as soft as its fur, this is what this Max Lion Grenache stands for. It consists of one hundred percent Grenache grape variety and is grown in the vineyards of the Loire Valley.

TASTING NOTES:

This smooth & soft red wine is perfect for giving as a gift, both in terms of appearance and taste. Perfectly in the middle in terms of intensity. Heavy enough for lovers of full-bodied wines and light enough if you like light and fruity.

A sultry taste of dark fruit such as berries and blackberries, in combination with some spices and pepper. Light tannins and not too acidic. All this makes it particularly suitable for serving with not too spicy stews or pork.
