Rochester Winery is owned by the De Wet family in Robertson, South Africa.

Winemaking and viticulture are the family passions which dates back to 1697 when the first De Wet settler in South Africa was appointed cellar master of the Dutch East India Company.

This rich wine is from the region of Robertson which lies in the Breede River Valley region of South Africa. With high levels of sunshine, producing an array of fine white wines, most notably Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay.

Pale greenish gold in the glass, this wine smells of cut grass and gooseberries.

Palate: In the mouth flavors of gooseberry, cut grass and green apple skins dance on a delicate acidity. Nicely balanced and beautifully textured, this is a lovely wine.
