Gapsted Winery is an Australian family-owned vineyard in the heart of the picturesque Alpine Valleys of Victoria’s High Country near Myrtleford.  

The winery is the outcome of six wine families seeing the potential of producing high quality cool climate wines from the Alpine and King Valleys. The families were influential in the region either as grape growers and winemakers.

THE WINE: Upfront plum and currant fruit, aromas of fresh eucalyptus and bay leaf, backed by mocha-vanilla-tinged oak and savory tannins.

FOOD MATCHES: Excellent with barbecued steak with garlic mash potato, or a hearty beef stew.
